Pillnitz is situated on the outskirts of Dresden and is famous for the former summer residence of the Wettin dynasty.
Already Augustus the Strong celebrated pompous festivities there and visitors can stroll through the beautiful Pleasure Garden still nowadays, surrounded by palaces in the Asian style.

The park impresses with exotic trees among those even Europe's oldest and biggest camellia.

* Combine the visit of Pillnitz Park with a walking tour through the old town or a bus tour through Dresden.
