Start the excursion with the transfer to the heart of the Saxon Switzerland - the Königstein fortress.
Changed into an impregnable fortress by the Wettin dynasty, it had played an important role in the history of Saxony during times of unrest as well as for festivities. Discover this military open-air museum and have a view into the 150m deep fountain.
Later you drive along the Elbe to the Bastei viewing platform. Enjoy the view from the famous stone bridge above this unique landscape with its table mountains, bizarre rock formations and the Elbe valley.
